About us
Rather than write a biography, which we believe interests few, we would just like to clarify our twinning with the website mora-foto.it/en, which we also mentioned above. CiaoCortina in fact was born 10 years after the creation of our "main" site, www.mora-foto.it/en which is about photography and photo editing with free software.
... we felt the need for new challenges...
That website is is giving us great satisfactions, qith about 2,000,000 total visits and 4,000,000 page views. After 10 years we felt the need for new challenges, so we decided to create this second website to consolidate the figure of Cortina d'Ampezzo in Italy and in the world, also in view of the visibility that, hopefully, we'll get after the Ski World Cup and the Winter Olympics.
We believe that tourism is essential for our country and is also what allows us to work and live in this beautiful valley. We have seen that there are a lot of "advertisement website" about Cortina, but we found a lack of something "written with the heart" by those who live here every day. So we choosed to write something that is different from a simple wall of links to pages and activities that pay for visibility.
